Projection

As I mentioned on my Home Page, the success of new learning adventures depends on good planning.  Here are few of the goals I am looking to reach now that I have completed my graduate studies.

• Getting even more knowledge by sharing educational information and by collaborating with colleagues locally and internationally.
  • I plan to develop my twitter account in a way that it will generate more discussion and collaboration locally, nationally and at an international level.
• Developing a website to help students with special needs face the challenging transition from high school to real life.
  • I plan to develop a website where young adult with special needs can learn, meet and share knowledge and experiences.  This website should also inform parents and caregivers about opportunities available in their communities for their children.
• Helping to develop online learning programs, such as language programs, at an international level and for humanitarian purpose.
  • I plan on working with a friend who recently opened a language school in Vietnam and is looking to develop the online aspect of the school.  Thus, I am looking at creating more online resources and programs to help people to improve their language skills and gain more opportunities at getting better positions in their country.  I am also looking for more opportunities to create eLearning programs in other communities.  It is not a clear project at the moment, but I am convinced that I can eventually get involved helping people reach their dreams through a better education.  I believe that, with the invention of the Internet and eLearning, the possibilities are endless.
• Writing novels that hopefully will touch people and cause them to reflect on improving the society we live in.
  • I plan to take some times to write a couple of stories I believe will touch readers’ lives.  These stories may be influenced by pedagogy.

Finally, I believe that it is important to have projects in life, to pursue dreams.  I have seen some of my dreams come true; one of them was doing a Master degree in Education.  However, these dreams involved a great deal of work and a desire to succeed at the goals we have established for ourselves.
